At the highest level we have a number of very effective strategy and leadership programs (funded) for senior managers and directors which focuses on high level personal effectiveness, high performance teams and business planning. All our Level 4,3 and 2 vocational programs provide you with a recognized qualification and certificate and could include free membership to The Chartered Management Institute, invitation to over 300 events a year and access to vast online resources.

All programs are uniquely designed to fit into your busy schedule and at the same time are entirely focused on best practice and using key skills to ensure you can get the best out of your team and improving performance yourself. Leadership and Management (Level 4,3, and 2) qualifications:

Level 2 Team Leader or Supervisor- Chartered Management Institute/ILM/OCR
Level 3 Line Management - Chartered Management Institute/ILM/OCR/OCR
Level 4 Chartered Manager - Chartered Management Institute/ILM/OCR

Each qualification requires the candidate to complete a number of modules which are specific to the your role and level you have now or are training to become. A list of some of these are on the right hand side. Which ever you decide to do the advantage of the qualification is that its a generic National Vocational Qualification (e.g. you will receive a certificate that's is "Chartered Management Institute Level 3 NVQ in Management"). How do the programs work ?
 

There are two components for every programme - training and assessment.

All qualifications include at least 16 hours of training (to confirm underpinning knowledge) normally over a period of a month and in addition there is a requirement for candidates to complete a number of fully supported and relevant "work related tasks" for the assessment. The purpose of these tasks is to ensure what you learn is being applied in the work place.

Examples of work done previously to the training by the individual can also be used to show evidence the candidate is meeting the standards. Which training route you take will depend which program you do but you have the option in each case to study in workshops or attend via webinars (live online and recorded training sessions)

Option 1 Structured workshops (All qualifications)
Normally run at the Victoria training centre, each candidate will attend 4 workshops of 4 hours long (either morning 0830-1330, afternoon 1330-1730).

Option 2 Offsite workshops
Same as above but run on your site and can be done over 2 days as opposed to 4 half days.

Option 3 On line workshops or webinars (All qualifications)
Using our state of the art technology and internet conferencing system and camaras all you will need is internet access and headphones and ideally a microphone to participate. There are a number of lunchtime live sessions as well as recorded sessions can be accessed 24/7.

Option 4 Flexi plan (ITQ and Customer Service qualifications only)
This is usually used for the IT courses and Customer service where candidates will receive 6 on site 1:1 coaching sessions as well as access to our on line training materials.

 
How does the assessment process work ?
 

In between workshops and training you will be set simple tasks which are ENTIRELY related to what you would be expected to do ensuring that you are practicing what is covered in the training or reinforcing best practice. There are never more than 8-12 tasks per course and you can expect our full support and provide you with examples and templates if necessary.

These work products are placed into a portfolio provided by us and signed off by our assessment team once we can see that the candidate is meeting the required standards. A letter of achievement follows the sign off and a certificate will be sent from the awarding body 6-8 weeks later.
